DNP Coursework

Courses for the Doctor of Nursing Practice are offered online in Fall and Spring semesters with practica (a minimum of 420 residency hours) occurring in the students' specialty area of practice.
Coursework can be completed in as little as two years.

Specialize in Mental Health

As patient care becomes more specialized, the need for qualified providers is growing. Prepare to sit for the PMHNP certification exam and fill critical roles through the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Post-MSN Certificate), a 20-credit online graduate certificate program for advanced practice nurses .

Open to APRNs who hold hold a current national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
