Choose from one of three concentrations to become an advanced practice nursing professional or nurse educator.

Family Nurse Practitioner

42-45 credit hours

Care for a wide range of patients, in multiple settings, as a primary care provider in collaboration with a health care team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, or FNP.

Nursing Education

40-43 credit hours

Prepare to mentor the next generation of nurses as a nursing faculty member, clinical instructor, or by working in staff development settings.

Psychiatric Mental Health NP

48 credit hours

Fill a growing need for accessible mental health services by preparing to become a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

The FNP concentration within the MSN degree program online provides a pathway to achieve greater autonomy in your practice and improve patient care within your community.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Post-MSN Certificate)

Prepare to sit for the PMHNP certification exam and fill a vital role in patient care as a mental health care provider.

Open to APRNs who hold hold a current national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
