The online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is designed for working registered nurses interested in advancing their practice and does not require the GRE.

Choose from Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or Nursing Education concentrations to gain the knowledge and skills to improve the health of diverse populations across the lifespan. You'll work closely with expert faculty members, have flexible course schedules through online learning, and engage in a variety of practicum experiences.

Program Cost

We offer affordable, flat-rate tuition for all our online degree programs. Graduate programs are $480 per credit hour. The online Master of Science in Nursing is 40-45 credit hours, depending on your concentration. 

Tuition for this program ranges from $19,200 to $23,040, depending on total credits. Scholarships and stipends available for qualified applicants. 

Estimated tuition does not include course or lab fees. 

Because our online degree programs are accredited, students may also apply for financial aid.

Curriculum & Courses

Family Nurse Practitioner

Courses focus on the importance of evidence-based practice and patient care. Upon successful completion of the MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner curriculum, you'll meet educational requirements to take the Nurse Practitioner Role: Family Nurse Practitioner national certification examination, and to apply for an advanced practice license. Note: Clinical hours must be completed in Louisiana.

Nursing Education

The Nursing Education MSN concentration prepares you to teach nursing at the undergraduate level. By successfully completing the MSN curriculum for the nursing education, you'll fulfill educational requirements for the NLN Certified Nurse Educator exam.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This 48-credit-hour program prepares you to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for individuals across the lifespan.Upon completion, you’ll meet the educational requirements to sit for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner national certification examination, and to apply for an advanced practice license.
